A tiny drawing. Probably about the size of my palm. @_@

I just amped it up in PSP7. :)

The title is Anakin's quote (in my head, not in the movies). And Padme is not sleeping.

This is Padme at her funeral in the gorgeous water dress.
And I just wondered what Anakin would do if he attended her funeral. Most probably he would fall to his knees at the casket and weep. His beloved died by his own hand in his mad rage.

I wanted to draw his gloved hand clutching the sides of the casket, but I got lazy. So let's assume this is more of a feeling kind of piece. I drew Padme first and then added Anakin later. It took me 3 tries to get his face right and he moved up and down the page. @_@

That's very nice. The amount of effort in the work all together can be seen. Its only the size of your palm? Woah, I would figure it to be alot bigger than that. xD

Was this all in pencil?

Super awesome detail and shading!!! I never would have guessed it's as small as you say. Great thought regarding the concept. Padme's death was super tragic, and I think this would have been Anakin's reaction had he been there.

I tend to draw very small because I have more control over the shading. My wrist can only make a limited, uniform arc of movement T_T

Yes, this was done entirely in mechanical pencil. :)

Yea, I just thought that in trying to save her, his blind love and devotion turned into rage too easily. Ironic that he was only trying to become stronger for her sake T_T

That's pretty insane. I love mechanical pencil, but I don't think I will get that awesome. Not for a very long time.
