I'm scrapping the original piece. Thanks for all your kind comments and suggestions on that one! :)

So IRELAND is now going as John O'Connell (these names seem to be the most common in my class. XD

AUSTRALIA is Steve 'Steve-o' Howes.

And joining them is our NZ Maori brother... who is still nameless. XP I thought Maori facial tattoos are really cool, so I gave him some, and it would help set him apart as well as adding a touch of spirituality. He's calmer and wiser than the rambunctious Australia (whom I wanted to seem wilder). :)

Fullview because the tattoos obscure his features quite a bit. And there's a tiny silver fern pin on his lapel, like the real NZ army. :)

Thoughts on naming him? I know the Maori language has some beautiful traditional names, but I have no idea how to pick one. T_T
[EDIT]:
NZ is now Edward te Whatarangi. Thanks for all the suggestions. I liked him to have a pseudo-middle name like UK/US. :)

Rawiri is simply... I can't remember. xD; It's the name of the narrator in The Whale Rider. And you probably wouldn't want him named after that, actually. Maybe, maybe not?

Mmm... There's a really good online English to Maori dictionary, and various name sites...

ALTHOUGH, personally, I imagine NZ to have twins. xD One Maori, one Pakeha, constantly bickering, then all lounging about drinking L&;P and cooing it's all "Sweet as!"

Rangi Haoka?

Rangi is the name of a young maori boy in the NZ comic called 'footrot flats' - its really cool! :D
