Super Trooper

This was supposed to be a fanart of Hetalia with Russia in the foreground but I didn't want to clutter up the picture further. The soldiers were originally supposed to be silhouettes, but they got promoted.

I had better explain the inspiration behind this pic. I'm not really a political person so I was a bit hesitant to draw out this picture.
I was reading a small column in the Metro free paper in Dublin 2 days ago on Vladimir Putin and his ABBA fandom:

Alpha maleski Vlad likes to bare his manly pecs and show Muscovites who is boss with his advanced judo moves. But according to Abba tribute band Bjorn Again, Mr Macho's dacha was the venue for a camp gig when he flew them out in secret, and at vast expense to perform for him. The Kremlin says 'Nyet!' naturally. Will the West take the former KGB hard nut as seriously now it's been revealed he's into Dancing Queen? The Red Army marching to Super Trouper appeals and we should all sleep more soundly in bed knowing the finger on the nuclear button has been waved in the air to Chiquitita.

As you can read, the column was full of puns and was extremely LOL. I found my head full of images that could potentially be drawn out. But the one that really stuck graphically was the line about the Red Army. Now, I know Hetalia is set in WWII, so I looked up the uniforms. I chose this one because the hat gives a really nice silhouette. And that's the Abba lyrics to Super Trouper in the background.

PLEASE DON'T KILL ME, RUSSIAN PEOPLE! I just thought it was a cool idea at the time. >_<
And I'm not sure if I like Hetalia yet. The anime has cleared up a lot of confusion I had about it but I'm still teetering on the edge...
